          Arthur D. Cashin Jr. (1941-2024) was an American financial analyst and stockbroker who served as the director of floor operations for UBS Financial Services at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

          Known for his market insights, storytelling prowess, and daily commentary, Cashin was a prominent figure on Wall Street for more than six decades.[1]

          Cashin's career on Wall Street began in 1959 at Thomson McKinnon, where he started as an assistant clerk at the age of 17 and still in high school. He was obliged to join the workforce when his father died unexpectedly that year.
